Firefox problem?

I have recently begun having problems with Firefox. After using google updater, my firefox windows seem to have lost formatting.

The status bar is about 2 inches above the bottom of the window, and web pages never finish loading. There is also extra space between toolbars at the top of the page.

When I look at the error console, I see this message:

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "'[JavaScript Error: "this._windows[aWindow.__SSi] has no properties" {file: "file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Fi... line: 670}]' when calling method: [nsISessionStore::getClosedTabCount]" nsresult: "0x80570021 (NS_ERROR_XPC_JAVASCRIPT_ERROR_WITH_DETA... location: "JS frame :: chrome://browser/content/browser.js :: PHM_toggleRecentlyClosedTabs :: line 6350" data: yes]

Any ideas how to fix this?

Firefox problem?
You can try two things.

System restore - bring the PC back to what it was before you used Google updater.

You can also install firefox, make sure all files are gone from your PC and reinstall again:)

When unisntalling firefox you need to go to your register and make sure all files are gone, to do this you go to start-run- type regedit and OK, then go to find and type firefox. be very careful in the registry you can really mess up your PC.

You can also check that your Java is up to date .

And it will do no harm to check your PC for virus, download spybot (free) and run a check:)
Reply:There's no such thing as Google Updater - sounds like Spyware and/or a Virus. Remove the offending spyware.
