Molecular genetics?

The “central dogma” of molecular genetics is that genetic information is coded in self-replicating DNA and undergoes unidirectional transfer to messenger RNAs in transcription which act as templates for protein synthesis in translation. The exception to part of this statement is:

A. retroviruses

B.tumor viruses

C. plasmids

D. restriction enzymes

E. gene cloning

Molecular genetics?
A. retroviruses. They use RNA as a template for DNA hence the retro part.
Reply:A. retroviruses. They use RNA as template
Reply:Retroviruses make DNA from RNA, don't they.

I'd say A.
