Ipod nano buttons work, but dont work...?

ok this is very confusing...





ive had my ipod for a long time.. probly like a year or 2.. and its never had any problems





but just recently it started acting up.. the buttons would work sometimes, but at other times they wouldnt do a thing (the hold button works just fine, its all the buttons on the front that dont work)





it was like that for about a week and now the buttons dont work at all.. ever.. with the exception of the hold button, but c this is the confusing part..





when i do the reset thing (hold the menu button and the center button for 6 seconds) it works and it resets my ipod.. the apple logo shows up, it restarts and everything..





but then when the menu is back up, the buttons and the clickwheel dont work...





so the buttons work when i use them to reset the ipod, but they wont work when i want to just use the ipod..





and to make it more confusing, it still plays music when i plug it into my adapter i hav for my car.. i jus plug it in and it plays, but i cant pick the song

The wiring has come lose inside of your ipod that is why it has stoped working you can get new parts on ebay or you can sell this one for parts on ebay and get a new one
Reply:its already overused and need to be replaced.. you cant fix it yourself coz you still need to bring it to someone who knows how to fix an ipod if you dont want to destroy it more.. let someone clean the inside of the buttons.. it might help but if nothing happens after cleaning.. well.. get a new one..
