Who would be the best 1 on 1 player in the NBA ?

Not talking about 1 on 1 play on a regular NBA game but I'm talking about just a 1 on 1 game on a basketball court where game is 11 or 16 obviously all shots are 1 points.

1. Kobe Bryant


2. Lebron James


3. Kevin Garnett


4. Jamal Crawford


5. Baron Davis





I think if you are too big, you can't be that good b/c big players are slow and cant guard the perimeter like Shaq. KG would be exception b/c he is very versatile. I recalled that the 2000 USA olympic team had a 1 on 1 game btw all the players and it was KG beating Gary Payton in the finals. But short players like A.I. would not stand a chance either b/c they would not be able to rebound against 6'5 and up guys.

THis i cuz big men can easily score above Kobe and LeBron. And Its a lot harder for shorter ppl to score over big men

Reply:Lebron james against kobe bryant. it would be good for all the fans to see who's better. and also. kobe bryant has played longer then lebron james. but lebron is just as good as him even though he has only been a pro for 4 years. it will be a good game and have fans on the edge of there seat waiting to see what will happen. it would be a great game.

You say short players wouldn't stand a chance but you list B. Dav and Crawford...I'm sorry but Crawford is terrible, he has no defense and his an ego the size of Ohio.





AI wouldn't have a problem against someone bigger, he guards Kobe when they play the Lakers. He doesn't need to be able to blocks shot cuz he can stop the dribble and get steals...





D. Wade is near unstoppable one-on-one, you must not have seen him in the playoffs(06) against Detroit.

Reply:1 on 1 is typically a guards game, so that would eliminate all the big men. I would think Kobe would be the best. a guy who isn't a star but is very good 1 on 1 is Rafer Alston. he's a former streetballer afterall.
