Limewire wont work !!!?

When i start limewire up on my p.c a message comes up saying that limewire cant start up because of a firewall blocking it. It sometimes used to say this but i just restarted my p.c and it ran o.k. Now i get the firewall message all the time. I've reinstalled it many times and made an exception on my windows firewall but still nothing !!! HEEELLLP !!!

Well.. firewall is blocking the program so it can't run. If a message from firewall pops up, you should have an option that says 'allow all the time' or something like that.. click that button and your limewire will be back to normal..


If firewall doesn't post something like that.. you have to go into firewall itself.. and change it that way. I don't know exactly how, but I am pretty sure that a screen from firewall will pop up. don't know though.

Try re-downloading limewire.. and if that doesn't work..


Try downloading morpheus.

Reply:Don't you think that your firewall is trying to tell you something? It is probably blocking it because it has detected nasties coming down with limewire.Limewire is infamous for infections. Try installing Utorrent instead. Much faster and safer when used in conjunction with mininova or isohunt. Good luck.lol
