Why won't anyone give the Bucs any credit?

They haven't SUCKED this year at all. Yeah, they're record is horrible!! But it doesnt reflect how the games were at all. Every game, with the exception of Baltimore) was really close, and they had great comebacks most of the time. There were some horrible calls in all the games (for those of you who actually watched all of the games you'll know what i'm talking about) some for us and some against us (80% of them being against us though) So don't use the whole "the refs are the reason they one" line.





But the Bucs are a good team. They've overcome lots of injuries, including a season ending injury to our QB....now we're playing with a 6th round draft pick ROOKIE and beat Cincinnati...yet everyone STILL thinks the Bucs are going to be horrible this year. Are the people who are saying this just not watching the games and only going by the Bucs record? B/c haven't played any easy teams this year and yet b/c we lose...we suck....I just don't get it...

i think they are a decent team..a team that is in the rebuilding process..i hope they stick with simms as qb when he is able to return, though their backup has done quite well...i think their defense isnt as good as they use to be and thats a big problem...cause the year they won the superbowl they were NASTY...they also dont have that playmaking wide receiver, though not a lot of teams do these days it seems...and cadillac has been inconsistent..but i was shocked they beat cinci..but upsets happen all the time..i dont think they are a playoff team, but if they fix a few things in the off season they will be right up there again

Reply:It doesn't matter how well you think they are playing. In the end the team with more points wins right? Great teams find a way to win, bad teams find a way to lose. The Bucs are a bad team, even when they play well, they lose, plain and simple. The win against the Bengals was a fluke.





Actually, I was watching the game, and it just looked like the Bengals played down to an inferior team. Sorry, but fluke. This is just an outsiders perspective, I'm not a fan of either team.
