If they get Mo Williams and Theo Papaloukas, then i don't think Kobe would want to leave again.

I think they can get Mo Williams and that would definitely help strengethen their backcour. However, you did forget that the Lakers have Lamar Odom. What I think they could do is offer a trade of Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum and perhaps Kwame Brown for Kevin Garnett. Perhaps they could land him and then they would definitely be a playoff contender.

I don't care what he does on the court or in his personal life. The kid is a cancer, selfish, and can't carry a team. Did I say that Her Highness is also overpaid?

Reply:Kobe is more concerned with having "names" on his team. None of those players are superstars, a la a Garnett, or Jermaine O'Neal, so Kobe wouldn't be happy with that team. I think it has potential, not in the West though. The fact of the matter is, the Lakers are going to need a few years to rebuild the team and fix the salary cap to get Kobe what he wants... and the only trade pieces they have (Odom, Brown) can't be traded or else the team goes back to being just as bad.
